Why do we all wave at the end of Zoom meetings, now?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My reply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cause you can\u2019t find the unmute button, because that window is on the other monitor, and it\u2019s behind the Facebook window, and your mouse is busy clicking on the latest coronavirus statistics news charts, and someone says bye in your headphones and it suddenly reminds you you\u2019re in a meeting; and that it\u2019s ending. So, you wave frantically, putting all the energy you feel you can that makes it seem you\u2019re super invested in&#8230; (opens up Calendar app to check agenda notes&#8230; can\u2019t even find the agenda&#8230; this is the same meeting we had last week but someone couldn\u2019t Zoom then, so it literally just says: \u201cRepeat\u201d); so you add an additional, extra-mouth-action <em><strong>\u201cStay Safe!!!!\u201d <\/strong><\/em>Before clicking \u201cLeave\u201d and the \u201care you sure?\u201d Then again. You force-quit Zoom, shut down the laptop, disconnect the router and have a quick cry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just me?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<amp-fit-text layout=\"fixed-height\" min-font-size=\"6\" max-font-size=\"72\" height=\"80\"><p>Peace be with you<\/p><\/amp-fit-text>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When someone asked: \u201cWait.
